The machine is heavy, the head completely closes the blade, for this reason there is a distance between the end edge of the head and the cutting edge, you need to get used to it. Arrived in 2 weeks FAST! Well packed and in a little cardboard box. I tried it and it's nice. I'm used to Merkur Futur, so this one is heavier and more aggressive. I do not recommend it for beginners. Handle is in good size but has not much embossed texture to stay firm in hand when wet because of it's weight. The head is very nicely machined and well done, though as I said aggressive and have to be careful if using very sharp blades. Overall I like it but preferred it to be a bit lighter with a better gripping handle. Mine weights 119.6 gr not like description that says about 93. The base is really good and useful. Don't order this razor without it! Thank you.
